Hi Kodiak! I’m Alana Schoenwether.
After five years mowing yards for neighbors, and even longer for my parents, I’m excited to take this BIG step. I can’t believe I’m starting my own business—Alana’s Emerald Lawn Care! It’s a little scary. Not because I don’t know how to mow lawns or help people. I do. It’s because starting a business feels like something other people do, not me. But that’s silly. I can help my neighbors. I can do a great job for them.
I want to serve your needs in a way that’s affordable.
Kodiak’s expensive. 💸 That’s why I keep prices low. A mow starts at $35. And it includes weed-eating. It fits your budget, whether you’re busy with kids, your back needs a break, or you just want a nice yard without the work.
Neighbors say I’m reliable. “You do a great job, each and every time,” one told me. That makes me happy. It’s a great feeling to serve you!
Need your lawn done while you’re at work? I’m on it. I’ll make it look neat and let you relax.
Want to garden but need help? My Helper for Hire service is for you. I can dig holes for bulbs or shrubs. I’ll work with you to speed things up. Or I’ll plant them if you like. Whatever you need, I’m here with a smile!
I’m a Kodiak local. I’ve been here 8 summers already! I know a great yard matters after our long winters. Like I say on my About page, I started mowing as a kid. It felt like a responsible thing I could do on my own. It made me proud. Now, it’s my passion.
My parents love being out in the yard. They like to plant new flowers and shrubs. They like to have me do the mowing so they have time to do that. I know there are probably others that would like a set up like that, too.
